Physio in Leadenhall EC3

Conveniently located at the very hub of our capital’s major transport links, our Leadenhall clinic serves commuters working such thrusting London locations as Canary Wharf, London Bridge and Bank.

With such salubrious neighbours as the Gherkin and The Lloyds building we certainly feel privileged to work at the very heart of our fair city.

At lunchtime you might find us in Chapters deli, or as the days get colder in Mother of Mash. We like to mooch around the stalls in Leadenhall Market which is a couple of minutes walk from our clinic.

  • Ski Assessment

Improve your ski technique before hitting the slopes.

  • Clinical Pilates

We get that your goals and what you want to achieve is different to the next person. One size does not fit all. Our classes reflect that.

  • Running Assessments

We know (unfortunately) how to get injured, but best of all how to get better and stop it from happening again.

  • Sports Physiotherapy

Sports injuries can be new and acute, or chronic and ongoing. Niggles that simply refuse to go away. The key is to really get to the root of the problem.

  • Work Station Assessments

Sore backs, achy shoulders, fuzzy hands and thumping headaches are not the norm.

  • Sports Massage

This will help reduce aches and pains, whether caused by sport, injury, or the many stresses and strains of modern everyday life.

  • Physiotherapy

Six Physio uses a pretty unique and simple concept that has a different twist on modern physiotherapy. It’s tried and tested and very, very effective.

  • Back pain

Bad luck, everyone experiences it at some stage during their life-time. More people are getting back pain younger, with more severe symptoms.

    Jonathan Grayson

After realising my dream of becoming a premiership footballer had been shattered at 16, I managed to find my brain after 12 years in education. This ultimately led me to attend and graduate from the University of Birmingham in 2002 with a BSc in Physiotherapy. Having enjoyed the social side of university so much I decided to stay and work in the NHS for 2 years, working in a variety of fields from thoracic surgery to paedeatrics. I then returned to my northern roots in the kingdom of Sheffield where I began working in the private sector, at clinics all over South Yorkshire and the Peak District. Being a typical Physio I developed the travelling bug after another 2 years and therefore spent the following 6 months skydiving, bungee jumping, scuba-diving and drinking my way around the world, visiting Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and the USA. Having returned to the UK, and realising just how small Sheffield was, I made the journey south of the border to London where I worked in a private sports injury clinic for the past 3 years, treating a diversity of clients including performers from a number of west end shows. Inbetween I recently spent 6 months away in France working for The British Chartered Physiotherapy Clinics in 2009, treating acute sports injuries, but more importantly becoming distinctly average on a snowboard! Now one of the manual Physiotherapist's at Leadenhall street, my aspiration is still to become any good on a snowboard, although the dream of premiership football is still there! One of the six facts you didn't know about me: My first pint of beer was at a house party with Vinny Jones!

Bring along any referral letters, scans, reports that you may have.

      • 2

Even though we’ve got lots of clean shorts and t-shirts you’re welcome to bring your own. Be prepared to expose bits of your body, if you’ve got a problem with your shoulder we’ll need to see it!

      • 3

Payment for the treatment is required at the end of each session, although we are able to bill BUPA and PPP directly.

      • 4

Patients with health insurance are asked to reclaim their fees directly from their insurer. If you wish to claim your treatment costs on your health insurance, you will need to contact your insurance company directly and they will send you a claim form. Each insurance policy is different and we advise you to ensure well in advance that your treatment is covered. It’s very important to check whether you need to be referred by a doctor or a consultant before receiving treatment. (N.B. BUPA/ PPP Health Insurance is billed to the company.)
