With the World Cup now within touching distance and Wayne Rooney consistently showing the sort of silky skills that has even the most ardent anti Man Utd supporter swooning in appreciation, it's frustrating to see that once again it's the England team's engine room (defence) that appears to be developing the sort of under the bonnet issues that would make even Toyota blush.
