SIX things you need to know before your first appointment
Bring along any referral letters, scans, reports that you may have from your GP or consultant.
Bring along a change of clothes (shorts & t-shirt.) If we are treating your knee for example, we’ll need to see it! Also your running shoes, if appropriate the physio may do some gait analysis on you.
Payment for the treatment is required at the end of each session.
Patients with health insurance are asked to reclaim their fees directly from their insurer. If you wish to claim your treatment costs on your health insurance, you will need to contact your insurance company directly and they will send you a claim form. Each insurance policy is different and we advise you to ensure in advance that your treatment is covered. It is very important to check whether you need to be referred by a doctor or a consultant before receiving treatment. (BUPA Health Insurance is billed to the company.)
