Ehlers Danlos Type III (Hypermobile Type)

November 28, 2017

Hi there, I have EDS III and really need some help with pretty much all of my joints! I’ve seen an MSK specialist who has recommended physio-lead/clinical pilates. Is this something you can do?

I’m a bit afraid of the gym and the pain any exercise has caused me over the last few years but I really want to get out of this deconditioned rut. Let me know if you can help.

I’m a medical student so I really need to do something intense now to try to sustain my studies and future (demanding) career.

Hi Emily

Absolutely yes.

Exercise is your key to staying fit, well and healthy.

It’s the type, frequency and loading that is key.
