Migraine help

March 14, 2019

My 15 year old daughter has had migraine continuously for 40 days specially at night 2 oclock, and during a storm in the mornings. All this started with flu then urine infection where the medicines or antibiotics have reacted.

She has had IBS issues in the past but it was in control now.

Did MRI reports are normal.

Please can you help with this.

I’m sure I can – does your daughter do any exercise?

Rinky replies:

She does gentle yoga. and goes for walks when the climate is good.

Hi Rinky

She needs to do some sort of aerobic exercise – it really be the quickest way of getting her from where she is with her headaches to where she (and you) want her to be.

I really don’t think that having a passive form of manual therapy for a young lady is the correct approach.

She needs to get her body moving (anything! Swimming, fast walking, bike) for at least 20 mins a good few times every week. Try this for the next fortnight and I’m sure she’ll start to feel much, much better.
