So I’ve had some troubles with my left knee over the last month. I play quite competitive netball and play around 5 times a week and have done for a couple of years.
Recently ive had some generic knee pain, in the IT band and lateral patella area. Last week I had a game and was in immense pain, had to come off. Iced it, Rested, Elevation etc. and next day some quite bad bruising came out. I dont remember any impact injury.
I feel fine 2 days later but this is the second time its happened, and feel like it will again when i next play.
Any help would be very much appreciated, thank you

The more you’re doing, the less control your getting – the pain you feel sounds very much like is due to the way your kneecap moves over your thigh bone.
Keep playing but maybe consider taping your knee to help control the pain
but you really need to add in some control work like this
