debs asked The Guru for the following Physiotherapy Advice:
After going ofr a long run I seem to have a pan around my lower calf and on the top of my foot. It hurts when I run and now at all times even resting.
Last year I had problems with my ITB and this is on the same leg?

Could well be relevant, and most likely is. It sounds as if you’ve got a really stiff ankle joint (pulling your toes up) which could be either to a very stiff soleus muscle or the joint thang.
Try stretching your soleus through the day and see if it changes you pain. Leave running alone for the next 5 days and see if you feel a difference.
