But can't tell you this week's lottery numbers!

My boyfriend suffers quite badly with his back and has lumps (knots) on both the left and right shoulder blade. I am trying to find the best therapy/massage for him.
What would you recommend?
Thank you, Clare
The Guru Responded:
Massage will make him feel great – it’ll be a “little” uncomfortable during and better later BUT it won’t get him any better.
Physio – understanding what he’s doing and why, what needs to move more (thoracic spine) and what needs to be controlled (neck and shoulder) will take a little longer to control his symptoms BUT it will get him better and he’ll have all the tools to make sure he can control his own symptoms – and knots!

I’m conflicted: whilst I don’t like visiting a physio (because of an injury), I love visiting Six Physio
