Shoulder Tendon Injury

Jan 06th, 2022

Hi there,

I’ve got a shoulder tendon injury from rock climbing that isn’t improving with rest. It’s been a few months now.

Do you think you could help?

Cheers,

Jack

The Guru Responded:

Hi Jack

Tendon injuries very rarely get better with rest – it’s all about putting appropriate load through the tendon to promote healing.

Think of it like the Goldilocks principle – either too little or too much load through a tendon is a real problem and when healing you need to put the right amount of load and tension through it, not just total rest (too little)

We’re pretty good at dealing with the loading conundrum and sure we can help.
