5 years in private practice in Bondi, Sydney
After graduating in 2003 Abbie worked for the NHS at Eastbourne District General Hospital. She then met an Aussie, travelled to Australia and ended up living in Sydney for 10 years. Abbie studied what felt like her whole degree all over again to pass exams to enable her to work as a physio over there.
Abbie worked in Sydney at a private hospital treating musculoskeletal and hydrotherapy patients. In 2013 she went to a private clinic in Bondi where she worked for 5 years and specialised in women’s health. Abbie enjoys treating the whole body but is particularly passionate about helping women to have better bodies and health. She co-authored and presented a birth education course aimed at empowering women with the knowledge needed to look after their bodies through pregnancy, birth and the post-natal period, and ultimately help them to have a positive birth experience.
Abbie has a great love of yoga and in 2011 spent a year completing an in-depth yoga teacher training course to become a qualified yoga teacher. She also has many years experience teaching general, ante-natal and post-natal Pilates.
