Sports Science with Coaching BSc, Sheffield Hallam University. Sports Massage and Remedial Therapy, North London School of Sports Massage
Since graduating I’ve worked at various national health charities, most recently focusing on working with employers on mental health and workplace wellbeing strategies.
My interests have always been in promoting health and wellbeing. I believe sports massage is an effective treatment for addressing both specific injuries or chronic pain to improve overall health. I enjoy working with athletes at any level — from first time 10k runners to full time professionals — and using massage to improve sports performance or to help prevent problems before they occur.
I use therapeutic treatments such as Muscle Energy Techniques to aid recovery and address muscle imbalances. I also offer corrective exercises and stretching techniques to help clients continue to see improvements in between their treatments.
I enjoy being active and outdoors as much as possible. I’m a regular hockey player and have recently started trying my hand at triathlons. I’ve been through my share of injuries so understand first hand the frustrations of being out of action and the importance of having a quality rehab experience.
