St. Andrews Centre for Burns and Plastics, Essex
The London Hand and Wrist Unit Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, (Burns Unit)
London The Hand Therapy Clinic, London

Working background:

After graduating from university, I jumped straight into musculoskeletal physiotherapy and hand therapy with my first job in a children’s hospital in Ireland. Deciding I loved it and wanting to specialise in burns and plastics (aka hand therapy), I moved to the UK in 2011 to gain further experience in St. Andrews Centre, Essex for hand surgery.

Following a move to London, I worked as a senior hand therapist at The London Hand and Wrist Unit. Since then I have moved between NHS and private practice; gaining skills and experience in surgical and conservative management of trauma injuries, sports injuries, burns and work-related conditions affecting the hand and upper limb. Along the way, I have completed Level 1 and five Level 2 British Association of Hand Therapy Exams.

I now work as a senior physiotherapist specialising in hand and upper limb rehabilitation. I also continue to work as a paediatric musculoskeletal physiotherapist in the NHS.
