Working background
Gary started his athletics career when he strained the ligaments around his knee during a competitive football match. Due to this injury he required Physiotherapy rehabilitation. He joined an athletics group as a way to help with his technique and to rehabilitate his leg.
Gary has been involved in Athletics for the past 25 years in a competitive and coaching capacity. Gary is a level 3 athletics coach, Personal trainer, and a sports massage therapist. Gary presently coaches a squad of junior and senior athletes who he has coached to national standard, as well as some area champions.
