Prior to moving to London in 2021 I worked at IvoryRose Physiotherapy, a specialist Women’s Health Clinic in Adelaide South Australia. I worked as a Women’s Health Physiotherapist and involved in delivering pelvic health, mastitis and pre/post-natal education services. As part of my role I was also the studio manager of a specialist pre/post-natal pilates studio.
After qualifying with a first-class honours from the University of South Australia in 2011, I worked extensively with elite female athletes. I was head Physiotherapist for the South Australian U19 netball team for three years as well as the Contax Premier League Team. During this time, I cared for many female athletes who required specific guidance and support on returning to sport after pregnancy. In order to supplement her Physiotherapy exercise prescription, I completed a Certificate IV in Rehabilitation through Polestar Pilates International.
I am currently studying a Masters of Pelvic Health through the University of Melbourne and am well experienced in the assessment and treatment of pelvic floor conditions such as urinary incontinence, faecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and sexual pain. I have a special interest in chronic pelvic pain conditions such as endometriosis and enjoys working with women to piece together their individual ‘pain plan’. I have also undertaken extensive further training in the assessment and treatment of Diastis Recti and enjoy incorporating Real Time Ultrasound Training to help women regain core strength after pregnancy.
