After graduating with first class honours in Bsc Physiotherapy, I travelled to Ghana to start my physiotherapy career volunteering at the capital’s teaching hospitals, the local premiership football club and village clinics. On my return to the UK, I joined a private scoliosis clinic back home in my native Suffolk before heading back up to Coventry to begin my career in the NHS. This allowed me to specialise in musculoskeletal conditions from day one and after three years I decided to trial the big smoke of London.
I joined the physiotherapy team at The Royal London Hospital, one of the country’s leading trauma hospitals and gained valuable experience in sports medicine, orthopaedics, hydrotherapy, general practice and A&E clinics. I also qualified in Acupuncture and Pilates during this time.
Running my first ever half marathon this year in 1 hour 48 mins. Not quite Paula Radcliffe or an iron man but I’m slowly getting there!
Pie and mash with tonnes of veg and gravy! I’m slightly obsessed with mashed potato so that’s got to be on the menu!
The Maldives. HEAVEN on earth!
Some sedatives as I hate flying! You’d never get me into space otherwise!
Erm who’s actually going to answer this?! There’s plenty, but none of which I can mention on here!
