I treat musculoskeletal conditions, rehabilitating clients towards their goals and am also part of the wonderful Pelvic Health team having completed my post graduate training in 2020. In Pelvic Health I help facilitate women and men with incontinence, pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction and carry out ante natal and postnatal assessments.
I head up the Pilates training programme for Six Physio and am passionate about teaching the next generation of Pilates instructors to enable the company to offer our patients the best quality of Pilates. I love teaching Pilates at Six, where I run machine based and virtual matwork classes.
I started my physio career in the NHS in 2009 and, after spending 5 years working in musculoskeletal there, decided I needed a bit of adventure and went off travelling to Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. Here I threw myself out of an aeroplane, learnt to scuba dive, swam with a pod of 300 dolphins in the Pacific Ocean, jumped off a very high canyon and ate a lot of dodgy things in China! On my return I worked in private practice for a year in Berkshire, along with a bit more travelling intermittently and a heli-skiing trip to Canada, before settling down and starting at Six Physio in April 2016.
Swimming with manta rays in Fiji, they finished migrating 2 hours before, so I just missed them!
Probably something from an Ottolenghi cookbook
Botswana to see the animals at the Okavango Delta
My camera to get some awesome photos
