Laura is active and sporty hence appreciates the need for an excellent massage to help with performance, injury prevention and recovery.
Laura treats each client’s individual needs combining various skills from sports massage to myofascial release, Thai yoga masage, Indian head massage and lymph drainage massage. Laura is also a traditional acupuncturist so combines a holistic approach to her massages, so where necessary includes massage of acupressure points, suggests lifestyle advice, stretching techniques and draws on yoga and qi gong principles to treat the body.
She works with a wide range of clients from those struggling with aches and pains from a stressful city life to marathon runners, triathletes, tennis players, golfers, dancers and jockeys. She has also qualified in pregnancy massage and particularly enjoys supporting women throughout their pregnancy journey.
She has treated on retreats abroad in the USA, Japan, India, Sweden and France and is off to China next year to volunteer in a Traditional Medicine hospital.
