University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia
Having originated from Australia, I spent the early days of my career working in a Paediatric and Women’s Health Hospital before transitioning to England in 2015, where I worked at a large number of major hospitals in London. During this time, I worked in both cancer care and specialist respiratory teams on the ward, outpatients and in peoples homes.
A passion for cancer care developed over the last several years through my work at the Royal Marsden Hospital, where I interacted with patients from all tumour groups as their Lead Outpatient Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist.
I am the Oncology Specialist Physiotherapist at Six Physio, with a wealth of knowledge in Breast Cancer and enhancing people’s physical function through regular physical activity during and post their cancer treatment.
I am passionate about improving the quality of life for people during and post their cancer treatment and enabling them to return back into their pre-diagnosis level of function or targeted goal. I have a particular interest at addressing the holistic needs of patients during their cancer journey, in particular exploring the psychological impacts of treatment.
