I started my career working in the NHS. Over the 5 years I gained core foundations in Musculoskeletal and Orthopaedic physiotherapy. After my first skiing holiday I fell in love with the sport and the mountains, therefore I left the NHS to work as a physiotherapist in a ski resort. Working in this environment I developed an interest for sports injuries.
On returning to the UK I continued to pursue my interest in sport, which led to working with a wide variety of athletes including professional, elite and recreational athletes. I spent a season working with 1st team and academy rugby league players at Hull FC, plus provided physiotherapy at training camps and competitions for sports including GB Freestyle skiing, GB slalom canoeing, Women’s Rugby Union and England Table Tennis.
I am a contractor for GB Rowing, so I am lucky enough to be invited to travel to regattas or training camps once or twice a year.
